Fundraising Manager (Volunteer)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Fundraising Manager to join our team on a volunteer basis. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing creative fundraising strategies to help generate the additional funds to support our programs and employee support systems.

Goal: to organise 4 fundraising events over a 12 month calendar period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies and campaigns
  • Cultivate relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community members
  • Plan and execute fundraising activities such as: fundraising cooking classes, grant applications, auctions and quiz nights, employee based fundraisers
  • Draft fundraising materials and social media campaigns.
  • Manage fundraising budgets, track expenses, and ensure all activities are executed within budgetary constraints.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for social impact and a commitment to our mission.
  • Previous experience or study in fundraising is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
